Key Construction of Fort Worth recently completed CIGNA Pointe One: Regional Headquarters in Plano for CMC Commercial Realty Group of Dallas. The project was designed and constructed according to LEED® sustainable design guidelines and is being submitted for Silver LEED certification.

Constructed to be a regional headquarters for CIGNA, the 204,000 square foot, four-story complex features a concrete façade enhanced with a glass curtainwall, thin brick and aluminum.

This facility incorporates an East-West orientation to minimize direct sun exposure and is constructed with recycled materials, low-E glass, a white reflective roof, and high-efficiency MEP systems. Additional green features include rainwater capture, efficient landscaping, and natural daylighting.

“We are very fortunate to have been a part of such a great team: CIGNA, CMC, CBRE and Corgan Associates [which provided architectural design services],” says Steve Whitcraft, executive vice president of Key Construction. “Everyone worked together to produce a remarkable, environmentally-friendly building that we can all be proud of.”
