I've color-matched vision and spandrel glass with several products. For green use Solarcool Solexia #2 with a Energy Advantage Low-E #3 at your vision glass and Solarcool Solexia #2 with a 102 Green Spandrel #4. This is more of a reflective green and I think it looks great.

White can make the spandrel glass seem glow in certain lighting and black can make it seem to look darker or under dim to no light seem black.

Another match I like and have used is optiblue Solarban Z50 #2 with a clear inboard lite at vision areas and optiblue Z50 #2 with a clear inboard and a blue spandrel #4 (The blue is like an indigo blue).

Your usually going to be safer sticking with a similar color spandrel coating.

Satin glass is just glass that has been etched (in an acid dipping process typically) but still allows light transmittance so it will have a shadow effect behind it under natural sun lighting. Velour is between opaque and satin. It allows some light transmittance and reduces visablity but it will still have some shadow effect. Etched glass will also provide a glow under certain lighting from the sun or even under bright lighting in a dim area. The acid process eats of the glass to give it a very finely rough texture if that term makes since. The roughness allows it to redirect light which gives the glass a blue or white hue.

Hope this helps!
