EFCO Launches New Thermal Sliding Glass Door

With a focus on energy efficiency, EFCO Corp. has launched its newest product, the 5XPT thermal high-performance sliding glass door.

Designed for use in high-rise condominiums and hotels, the 5XPT incorporates the EFCO E-Strut thermal barrier, which is designed to enhance energy savings and condensation resistance. It accommodates glazing up to 1-5/16 inch, further improving overall performance.

“We are proud to add the 5XPT to our product offerings,” says Dave Hewitt, EFCO director of sales and marketing. “It's an energy savings alternative that has the flexibility and versatility to meet the demands of any project.”

The 5XPT also is designed to meet today's standards for appearance and security. The system is designed to use impact-rated glass products and multiple glazing options add design flexibility. In addition, the low-sill profile is designed to provide a modern, streamlined look.
