Glass Association of North America Releases New Information Tool The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has released the 19th in its series of Glass Informational Bulletin (GIB), educational documents available as a free download from its website. Titled Approximate Weight of Architectural Flat Glass, the GIB provides approximate weights of architectural flat glass by thickness designations as published by North American manufacturers. “Calculating the weight of architectural flat glass is a question that our staff receives on a weekly basis,” explains Ashley Charest, account executive for GANA. “This newest glass informational bulletin will be an extremely helpful guide to design professionals, when needing an approximate weight for glass used in their projects.” CLICK HERE to access the bulletin.
