Mike Turner has been named vice president of marketing for YKK AP America, the Austell, Ga.-based supplier of architectural metal systems. Turner manages the marketing department as well as all responsibilities previously under his watch, including engineering and technological resources. The alignment of these disciplines was established to create synergy between technical capabilities and marketing strategies. The company also has established formal functions in the area of regulatory affairs and innovation. Turner has been with YKK AP since 1992, moving from assistant engineer to project manager, tech center design engineer, supervisor of technical planning, technical administration manager and director of technical services.
