Guardian Expands ShowerGuard Availability

Guardian Industries Corp. and Sapa Fabricated Products have entered into a strategic partnership to expand the availability of Guardian ShowerGuard throughout North America. ShowerGuard is a glass designed to be easier to clean than standard glass and maintain its original, like-new appearance over time.

Guardian ShowerGuard was introduced to the marketplace in 2006 as the first temperable, permanently protected shower glass. The surface of the glass—which is sealed through a patented ion beam process during manufacturing—resists the corrosion and discoloration caused by constant exposure to heat, humidity, hard water, soaps and harsh cleaners.

“We believe ShowerGuard is the ideal product for Sapa Fabricated Products given Sapa’s standard in the market for quality and its commitment to total customer satisfaction,” says Patricia Kennedy, Guardian’s director of interior glass programs.
