GANA Announces New AIA-Accredited Presentation on Glass
Coatings
The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has developed a new
presentation accredited by the American Institute of Architects
(AIA) with one learning unit toward continuing education in the
architectural field. Titled Coated Glass, the presentation looks
at the history and technology behind glass coatings, as well as
applications and enhancements, specifically in the realm of energy
efficiency.
"The Flat Glass Manufacturing Division's Education Committee
has done an excellent job with this presentation," says Ashley
Charest, account executive for GANA. "This is their second
accredited presentation, and its release is very timely with the
increasing awareness for energy efficient technologies."
The presentation examines various technologies and applications,
as well as cost savings to buildings that utilize coated glazing
in the structure. Requests for a presentation can be made by calling
785/271-0208.
